VOLUNTEER

- Please read and complete our VOLUNTEER FORMS PACKET or VOLUNTEER FORMS FOR COURT PACKET prior to your first day of volunteering.
- Our volunteer program continues to be flexible for everyone’s schedule. We are excited to have everyone be able to donate their time to helping our animals. Volunteers must be 16 years old and are welcome Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4pm and Wednesday nights till 6:30pm as well as weekends 8:15am-11:15am – there is something for everyone. If you would like to take a long walk with a dog or have some playtime with our cats, or maybe you understand how much care and cleaning goes into taking care of our animals and are able to donate time in cleaning and feeding and most importantly showing love to our animals. We are always looking for help at our events or even simple office work can help make our shelter successful and most importantly find homes for the animals!
- You must attend a volunteer orientation prior to volunteering (offered quarterly).
- UPCOMING ORIENTATION: The next orientation will be late summer/early fall of 2024. Please continue to check website or call our office for next scheduled date. 815-725-0333.***Previous volunteers that have not volunteered in more than 1 year must also attend an orientation.
